Here’s what Wilkinson has to:
"The WVC range of tremolos is the ultimate in comfort and performance. Ideally suited to more contemporary guitar designs this family of bridges looks far more expensive than it is.
Features include a stamped steel "Heat hardened" top plate with 6 screw pivot mounting, push-in trem arm and "Wilkinson" design stagger drilled block for unrivalled tuning stability.
This Tremolo system also has the added benefit of a SOLID STEEL sustain block, a feature never before available in a tremolo bridge at this price point"

For Right Handed Guitars
Bought a black one for my MIM Fender Player strat. Does not mount on original 2-point bolts. The studs that come with the Wilkinson trem are larger so cannot be fitted without permanently modifying Strat body.
The push-in arm is nice and has adjustable tension. However, the saddles are pretty lightweight and whilst heavy, the steel block on mine was unfortunately already rusting. For these reasons I just stuck with the bog-standard chrome Fender unit. Can’t, therefore, comment on sound or tuning stability.
It’s probably a reasonable upgrade if your guitar has a budget entry-level trem. However, the quality (and to be fair the price) is noticably lower than the stock hardware you’d get on a mid-range guitar.
Changed from a block bridge to a wrap round. Made all the difference to the strat sound. Delivered in 2 days good quality steel easy to fit and keen price. All good. Very pleased.
Top quality trem. Solid build and looks like it will last for years
Pretty solid strat bridge. Great replacement for the wind in trem at a great price.
