Wilkinson's R Series Caliber 5761 is a true embodiment of the brand's two-decade-long expertise in producing pickups. Designed to replicate the iconic PAF humbucker from the late 1950s, the Caliber 5761 features "Rough cast" Alnico V long magnets with .42 AWG elektrasola wire, and nickel silver backing plates and covers.
The vintage accuracy of the Caliber 5761 is further accentuated by its maple spacers under the slug coils, braid shielding, and push-back cotton sleeves. To retain the classic sound, these pickups are not wax potted and have a 50mm spacing between centers.
Whether it's for rock, blues, or jazz, the Caliber 5761 provides an authentic vintage tone that guitarists can rely on.
INNOVATIONS
Trev Wilkinson's early exposure to the legendary sounds of guitar greats greatly influenced his own playing and future in music. Hank Marvin's use of vibrato sparked Trev's interest in a device that would later become an integral part of the Wilkinson brand.
