From low-down reggae riffs to growling rock, our Precision Plus pickup is designed for the bassist who needs maximum tonal variety just by altering their pick attack. Wound just a hair hotter than vintage P-Bass pickups, the Precision Plus use specially treated magnets that maximise the tonal colours available.

Wound on vulcanised fibreboard just like the originals, you’ll love the look and feel of these pickups. Designed to be easily installed on any USA or Mexican instrument they also fit the majority of import P-bass style guitars.

Tonerider P Bass Pickups

Replaced the pickups in my Sire P7 and it's now a new bass, classic crunchy rock tone or warm soul tones - it can do it.

Tonerider precision plus pickups

Cannot fault northwest guitars, item delivered on time in good quality packaging. Pickups looked good and looked well made but when installed into my Japanese made p-bass the bottom E was a bit dead sounding compared to the other strings. So I put the original pickups back in. However, i will try this set in another bass later and maybe it will sound better.
