Wilkinson WJN05 EZ Lock Tuners

Designed by Trevor Wilkinson for Stratocaster/Telecaster guitars, or any project that requires a set of high quality 6-in-line machine heads.

These tuners have a sealed housing & mounting screw hole at 45 degrees.

The 1:19 gear ratio, combined with solid brass gears, ensures superior tuning stability and precision over the lower quality hardware typically found on standard & mid-range guitar models.

Wilkinson EZ-LOK System

This unique system features 2 string post holes drilled at 90 degrees from each other. Pull the string through one hole real tight, wrap 3/4 around the post, pull tight through the other hole. Tune to pitch, cut the string- DONE.

Use the top hole first for the E, A and D, use the bottom hole first for the G, B and E. Or, you can ignore it and string your guitar the traditional way, the choice is yours.

When it comes to value for money, Wilkinson hardware really is hard to beat. Made from high quality materials, and with great attention to detail, these tuners would not look out of place on any high-end instrument.

Not great

One of the six in the set is no good. It’s resistant to turning through about 90 degrees in a particular spot, in both directions. These are not expensive, you get what you pay for I guess, but they were the only gold-coloured 3+3 tuners in stock that weren’t over £100. I really should have just paid more.

Excellent Tuners.

The only tuners I use for my builds. Had a dodgy one that wouldn’t turn over. Contacted Northwest and a replacement was with me the next day. This is why I order from these guys. Great customer service. Well done guys!!

Great Tuners

Excellent replacement for the factory fitted tuners on my Harley Benton HSS "Strat"
They were easy to fit (even for a ham-fisted duffer like me!) They were fitted with new strings so they may need to bed in a little yet, but the tuners are holding tune very well
