Designed specifically for the Squier Stratocaster series, the BS085 tremolo unit comes with a full-size 37mm zinc sustain block. 

Zinc is lighter than other materials, such as brass or steel. This can help keep the overall weight of the guitar down, which might be preferable for some players.

While this is somewhat subjective and varies between players, some guitarists believe that zinc provides a balanced tonal characteristic, without overly accentuating highs or lows.
