Replacement Alder SSS Stratocaster body
We've been making bodies and necks for many years now, and we have achieved a reputation among builders and luthiers for producing wood products of the highest quality.
We use only hand selected hardwoods from the USA to ensure consistency and quality, and manufacture everything in our own factory. We run a relatively small operation, meaning we can make everything by hand, without the need for expensive CNC machinery, thus keeping the costs relatively low.
All our Strat bodies are made from 2 piece matched American alder.

After much consideration, I decided to buy a Strat body from Northwest Guitars. I have always been very satisfied with their services and other products I have purchased.
I was a little reluctant to buy a body as the weight is mentioned to be approx. 2,2 kg which is quite heavy in my opinion. I have a Fender Highway One Strat from 2004 and the body weighs 1,7 kg only and the guitar assembled is a little over 3 kg. To me this is the ideal weight.
So when I received this body I put in on the scale and was happily surprised that it was only 1,9 kg.
With the guitar assembled it is approx. 3,3 kg - a little less than a standard Mexican made Strat - in my opinion.
It is a very beautiful body and the finish is absolutely well done. It appears to be a fairly thin poly finish compared to e.g. Fender's poly finishes.
I highly recommend the bodies from Northwest Guitars.
