We endeavour to deliver UK orders within the time frames stated above. However, due to the nature of our products, seasonal increases in demand and factors beyond our control, there may occasionally be longer delivery times. We aim to inform you of any such situation to avoid disappointment.
We are unable to redirect orders once they have been dispatched. If delivery proves impossible or impractical on 2 or more occasions, we may need to cancel your order and deduct the original delivery charges from the refund. However, we will try to contact you in this case to arrange for a new order to be placed.
You can track and view online orders via your account page. Go to my account.
VAT and Import Duty Changes for EU Customers.
On January 1st 2021 the UK left the European Union – and this effects how Northwest Guitars now interacts with our European customers.
We no longer charge VAT to any customers ordering from within the EU and as such, any VAT/VIES exceptions are no longer valid.
VAT will however still be paid once the goods arrive into the country of receipt – this will be raised and invoiced between the courier and the customs office in your country. They will also, most likely, add an additional handling fee.
Please note – Northwest Guitars is not responsible for paying these taxes or fees, and it is solely the customer’s responsibility to be aware of these extra costs, and paying them. Failure to do so will result in the shipment not being delivered.
Any orders undelivered because of unpaid fees and/or tax, will incur a return fee of £45.
It is advised that you research your local delivery services (we use Fedex for all expedited carriage, and Royal mail for the standard service) to ensure that there are no unforeseen additional costs upon delivery.
When shopping from outside the UK, the prices displayed do include UK VAT, but this will be removed at checkout.
We are once again shipping Nitrocellulose paints & stains, finishing oils and thinners to countries within Europe.
We can ship to most EU countries, and also Norway and Switzerland.
If you have any questions, you can contact us on 01925 407056 or +44 (0)1925 407056 for customers outside the UK. You can also email us at email@example.com.
