Nitrocellulose Chip Repair/Touch-up Paint
We stock a wide range of high quality nitrocellulose lacquers and paints suitable for use on any guitar project. We’ve produced a range of colours found on popular guitar models and used our own Strat and Tele bodies for reference This is the same type of lacquer as used on vintage Fender and Gibson guitars which, over time, will produce an aged, tarnished look to your instrument. These are true lacquers, as used by top guitar makers since the 1950s. They dry very quickly and produce a hard glassy finish, unlike other “pre-cat” lacquers These paints and lacquers are very easy to apply and generally require no sanding in-between coats.
50ml of neat nitro with brush located in lid
Each pot contains 50ml of neat nitrocellulose which can be applied directly to the wood surface.
This lacquer can be thinned with cellulose thinners if required though this is not necessary for scratch & chip repairs
*Colour may vary slightly dedending on number of coats applied, wood type and preperation method. Use only in a well ventilated area. Suitable breathing apparatus should be worn

Great product, great price, outstanding service
Unsurprisingly I needed this Chip Repair Paint to repair a chip in NC finish. The product is exactly as expected delivered quickly and good quality, it comes with a brush but I used my own. It worked perfectly. I really want to mention the excellent service from NWG, I needed to add some thinners to the order, they called me and sorted it, no problem. May seem like a small thing but in an age when speed seems more important than service it was great talk to a human who was able to provide a friendly personal service. NWG will be the first place I look for stuff in future.

Nitrocellulose Chip Repair Paint
The Nitrocellulose clear lacquer is a good product and driers to a satisfactory finish. You need to be careful when applying so as to not apply to much in one go. I had a slight problem with the built in top brush as it fell out when using it as it appears just to slot in the top. So I needed to push it back in but it is ok now.
