Solderless Stevie Ray Vaughan drop-in deluxe wiring harness
Hand built by us here in the Uk, this configuration is identical to that used in vintage 50' guitars and also in the famous SRV Strat.
Standard configuration of tone control on neck and middle pickups. Bridge pickup is straight through with no tone control.
USA made parts - Reliable & robust
We use parts of the highest quality for these harnesses. They are built utilising Eric Johnsons "floating wire" technique to reduce hum and other interference.
For those who aren't too confident with a soldering iron, this is a fantastic solution. Just connect your pickup wires to the colour coded connecting block, do the same with the two wires from the output jack (supplied), and you're ready to go. The whole job takes less then 5 minutes, and no chance of buring down the house!
Contents of the SRV wiring harness:
1 x Genuine USA made CRL heavy duty switch
3 x CTS vintage dimple back Audio Taper pots (250K)
1 x Genuine Sprague Orange Drop Cap (0.022uf)
Vintage cloth covered wire (USA Made)
1/4" Mono output jack
All fitted to our custom aluminium control shield (helps reduce hum, and eliminates the need for the 3 point wiring to the back of the pots)
Hand built in the UK
All of our wiring harnesses are assembled by us here in the UK using high quality silver solder and USA made vintage cloth push-back wire. We even solder the output jack so the whole this is ready to drop-in.
All parts are fitted to our aluminium control shield there’s no need to dis-assemble the parts to fit them to your scratchplate. Simply add the whole assembly to the underside of your scratchplate and it’s done!

after an initial small delivery hiccup these work a treat! plus a good tone and volume!
Not yet tried and tested, but speed of delivery excellent and although the item was incomplete when received, an exchange was made within a week (including delivery times)! Many thanks to Kevin and his helpful response. Had it not been for the initial glitch I would have awarded 5 stars.
