For pure SRV tone and style, the Fender Artist Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster is as close as you can get to the number one Strat owned by the man himself. This guitar is ex-display, so features some tiny blemishes in the finish, but plays as if it was brand new. It also comes with a hard case and all the assorted case candy.

Jumbo Frets

Perfect for big bends and even vibrato, these jumbo frets are tall and wide, allowing you to get a better grasp of the strings. If you've got big hands you'll absolutely love the feel of these frets, although its plenty comfortable for players with smaller dimensions too.

Thick Oval Neck

As you may know, SRV himself preferred a chunky neck and the one in this Strat is closely matched to his preference. The early-60s thick oval neck profile gives you a comfortable fretting hand feel with more mass for improved sustain. The extra heft of the neck makes bending feel really intuitive, giving a great response to blues guitar playing styles.

Texas Special Pickups

Lined up in the classic Strat format, this set of Texas Special single coil pickups are overwound for scorching blues guitar tone. Alnico V magnets with enamel-coated mag wire and staggered polepieces add up to a tone that can sing, scream, and do everything in between. Expect a tight low end, focused midrange and crystalline highs.

Pau Ferro Fretboard

Similar in looks and sound to Rosewood, Pau Ferro comes from South America. It's lighter in colour than Rosewood, but harder in composition, making it a brilliant tone wood for fretboards.

Left Handed Strat Tremolo

One of the most unique features of SRV's Strat is the left handed strat tremolo. Apparently SRV preferred this placement as it was more like the guitar of his hero Jimi Hendrix, with the trem arm above the strings. It certainly feels different if you're used to a Strat tremolo, but actually provides easier access than you'd expect, at the expense of taking some getting used to feel-wise.

The Fender Stevie Ray Vaughn Stratocaster is a premium level instrument that will satisfy any player who years for Texas blues tone. Just like a regular Strat its versatile enough to do a wide variety of styles though, and is sure to find its place amongst one lucky winners' collection!
