Inca Silver Nitrocellulose Guitar Paint / Lacquer 400ml

Shipping Info

400ml Nitrocellulose paint/lacquer

We stock a wide range of high quality nitrocellulose lacquers and paints suitable for use on any guitar project.
We’ve produced a range of colours found on popular guitar models and used our own Strat and Tele bodies for reference.

This is the same type of lacquer as used on vintage Fender and Gibson guitars which, over time, will produce an aged, tarnished look to your instrument. These are true lacquers, as used by top guitar makers since the 1950s. They dry very quickly and produce a hard glassy finish, unlike other “pre-cat” lacquers

Metallic colour paint
400ml aerosol with eliptical nozzle
Reliable and easy to use - Aerosol produces a consistent fine spray
Each can is enough for 6-8 coats of a Telecaster sized body (depending on coat thickness)

These paints and lacquers are very easy to apply and generally require no sanding in-between coats.

Tip: We recommend adding 4-5 coats of clear gloss over the top of all colours for protection and a deeper glossy shine.

Use only in a well ventilated area. Suitable breathing apparatus should be worn

*Colour may vary slightly depending on number of coats applied, wood type and preparation method.

    Inca silver nitro

Posted by Eli on 4th May 2020

I do recommend this paint. Its structure is quite thick so it's very convenient to smoothen small surface imperfections with minimal amount of coatings.
The colour is very glossy and glittery! Make sure you paint outdoors or have a good ventilation system, as well as protect your eyes - this one is quite dusty.
I used this paint as a main colour for modern Gibson-ish silverburst effect, it goes really well, especially over grey primer. Apart from that I liked how it turned out to put the thinnest layer of this inca silver nitro before clear coating to adjust a mix of blurry and slitely glittery effects on a body that was going to be furnished with chrome hardware.

Excellent spray. Absolutely no spitting or any problem. The silver is amazing and works great with the grey base coat. I wish they had a Pelham blue!!!!
