Good product for me and the price. The scratch plate was slightly different to the one on my cheap Strat copy. Undaunted, I transferred the pickups etc from the one you
supplied, A decent result. I am only 77 but when I grow up I'll get a better guitar, in the meantime if I need any accessories I'll source them from North West.
No instructions but easy to fit although the placement of some of the screw holes are different from the original. I used a small drill bit to make pilot holes for the missing ones. You'll also need a soldering iron to resolder the 1/4" jack and earth cables once you have fed the wires through the holes in the guitar. The volume knob was also swapped with one of the tone knobs. These are easy enough to pull off to swap over.
It’s very good with my Bogner
Efficient user friendly service. The scratchplate was well worth the cost, and was easy to fit, turning a poor quality guitar into a very playable beginners instrument
cheap and cheerful but well worth the money, turned a dreadful guitar into a decent looking and sounding beginners instrument
excellent service great item.
Excellent and simple upgrade to my Squier strat. The existing electronics were suffering from noisy pots and a mystery loose connection I couldn't track down. The new plate sounds much better and was easy to wire in. Only one minor criticism - it comes with the output jack already soldered on, but I had to remove that first so I could pass the wires through the channel between the body cavity for the pickups and electronics and the cavity for the output jack. It would be simpler if the plate was supplied with the output jack separate.
Very pleased. Dropped straight in with minimum soldering (just the earth and plug) and sounds surprisingly good!!!
